Yoichi Isagi made the rookie mistake of trusting his less-talented teammate, and now has lost any chance of making it to Nationals with his high school soccer team. But luckily, some made man with ambitions of building Japanese World Cup Champion team has given him a second chance; Blue Lock. A prison built to house all of Japan's star striker talent, to beat out the passivity and teamwork and cultivate the raw ego needed to mold the game of soccer to your whim. In a brutal survival game, the players inside the prison will compete until only one is left above all others, and the losers can never play soccer again. This week, Matt, Sam, Jae, and Jacob read and discuss Blue Lock written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura .
